Summary
The data controller is Adrian Briciu, trading as Stoneharrow Surveying & Consultancy, Barnsley. Contact: enquiries@stoneharrow.co.uk.
When you send an enquiry I collect your name, contact details, the property address and the information you provide about it. I use this to respond, provide a quote and, if you instruct me, to carry out the inspection, prepare the report and invoice you. The lawful basis is taking steps to enter into, and performing, a contract with you.
Inspections involve photographs and, where agreed, 360° imagery of the property. Images are taken only with the permission of the owner or person in control of the property, and occupiers are informed beforehand. I avoid capturing people, and personal documents, photographs and security equipment are excluded or obscured where practicable. Imagery is used for the instruction, stored securely, and shared only through private links with people the client authorises. It is never published or used for marketing without the owner's written consent. Where a 360° tour is hosted online, the hosting platform is named in the terms of engagement.
Reports and job records are kept only for as long as needed for insurance, tax and legal purposes, then securely deleted. Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted once they are no longer needed.
I do not sell or share your information, except with my professional indemnity insurer or professional advisers where necessary, or where required by law. Website enquiries are received and stored by the website host, Netlify, Inc., a US-based provider, and may be processed outside the UK.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and its fonts are hosted on the site itself.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. If you are unhappy with how it has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
